Maximum contributions to health savings accounts will jump slightly next year, the IRS announced. It will increase $50 for individuals and $100 for families. This takes effect January 1, 2015.
2015 HSA Contribution limits
Self-Only Coverage $3,350.00 up $50 from 2014 – $3,300.00
Family Coverage $6,650.00 up $100 from 2014 – $6,550.00
HSA contributions limits are updated annually to reflect cost-of-living adjustments.
The annual limitation on deductions for an individual with family coverage under a high-deductible health plan will be $6,650 for 2015.
The maximum out-of-pocket employee expenses will increase next year to $6,450 for single coverage from $6,350.00 and to $12,900 from $12,700 for family coverage.
